"Legacy of Negasi" is a Black-owned, Veteran-owned publishing company out of Wichita, Kansas; authors of children's books; organizers and advocates for promoting a positive image of the black family through early childhood education and learning. Its founder, Dana McCall, pivoted the company to be tech-enabled, adding virtual read-a-long services to allow families the opportunities to access a variety of inclusive storytelling opportunities.
Dana also has won multiple pitch competitions with the learnings she gained in Spark.

r&j lEGACY tRANSPORT, llc
Rodney Brinkley was able to create a strategic plan to place structure around early successes in his transportation and logistics company to better manage growth.
Now, Rodney is working to secure financing to purchase additional trucks for his fleet and a talent plan to gain additional contracts statewide and in the region.

AB&C BILINGUAL RESOURCES, LLC
AB&C Bilingual Resources, LLC is a bilingual marketing company. Its founder, Claudia Amaro, took her learnings from Spark to continue to grow statewide contracts for her services. In 2023, she expanded to a brick and mortar office in downtown Wichita and has grown her staff to include five other professionals to increase their service reach.

Charcutistry is a meal preparation and catering service that accommodates special diets. Its owner, Zoe Stone, used her knowledge from Spark to grow her catering company to include large contracts from clients such as Wichita State University. She reports her company's revenue has more than doubled.
